Getting Excited to Go to the Movies in 2020

2019 was a landmark year to go to the movie theaters with many blockbusters and award-winning indie films releasing monthly. Going into 2020 feels like it will be a little dry when it comes to movies but the year has many movie surprises in-store. Check out some of these movies you'll be able to experience in theaters sometime in 2020.

Black Widow

Based on the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this movie takes place in the 90s, way before the Avengers Initiative started. Black Widow must go back to her past and team up with her family to go on a mysterious mission that has ramifications for the entire world. Since Marvel has hidden large amounts of this movie from the public, it's easy to assume that this movie will set up the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Mulan

This live-action remake of the 90s animated classic, Mulan, takes place in a small village in China where each family must send one of their sons to fight in a war to secure the country. Born in a family that doesn't have any sons, a young woman named Mulan decides to hide her identity and fight in a war in which she'll learn more about herself.

A Quiet Place: Part II

Taking place shortly after A Quiet Place, a family travels throughout the United States to find civilization in which they can rest and gain the supplies they need while creatures lay lurking around. On the journey, they find out that all of the humans they come across aren't ones to be trusted. Read on 123 movies for more sources.
